It has been a minute since I've been on xanga.
Alot has changed to xanga since I've been on.
Let me give you an update on my life.
Mid April I saw Ash and it was AMAZING.
We had some adventures and fun was had by all!
I started a new series on Monday nights with my teen girls.
We are reading "Captivating."
I'm really excited about this because the girls need to hear how to find themselves.
This study has truly opened up my eyes to some things lingering in my heart.
Here recently, I've noticed myself doing WAY TO MUCH.
There are some things in life that we do just because we've always done them.
I've really had to take a step back and realize what I'm doing in life! Lol
Youth is going well. Really devoting alot of my time to ministry.
Balancing work in the salon and ministry/outreach ideas.
Setting time for yourself is so important and I realized the importance of this this past weekend! lol
Something that I have been thinking about as well is discipleship.
Being a youth pastor, that's pretty much what I'm doing.
I get to lead them closer to God.
The word to describe my mood currently is disappointed.
Disappointed in this generation...
I've poured every ounce of what I have inside and it seems sometimes they aren't getting it.
It means that I need to go to the Lord and get refilled...I'm empty...
When I look at what God has done in my life these past couple of years I'm amazed.
I see favor in everything I have put my hands to do.
God is so GREAT and yet I can never express how much I love Him.
